Hello I've found two female childrennii in Melbourne outskirts Jan and Feb 2008. The first died the same day and was obviously not well when found. I retrieved about 20 eggs post mortem and plan to rear them.
The second found at my children's school laid about 30 eggs and died after about ten days. Again I recovered about 20 more eggs by dissection and noticed many more immature yolks without shells.
I will post my progress when there's more action
I do also have some Queensland spiny leaf insects
